The Star Church Children’s Ministry exists to help children know Christ, grow in their faith, and understand how deeply God loves them. We believe children are a vital part of the church today, not just the church of tomorrow. Our mission is to partner with families to build a strong spiritual foundation in every child’s life.

What to Expect

 

Children experience a fun, safe, and engaging environment designed just for them. Each gathering includes age-appropriate worship, Bible-based teaching, and interactive activities that make learning about Jesus exciting and meaningful. From their very first visit, kids are welcomed, valued, and cared for.

Weekly Gatherings

 

Star Kids meets weekly at all Star Church campuses—Birmingham, Forestdale, Pell City, and Sylacauga. Our ministry serves children from birth through elementary school with spaces and experiences tailored to each age group. Check your campus page for specific service times and details.

Age-Based Environments

​

We provide intentional, age-specific environments where children can grow at their own pace. Each space is designed to help kids understand biblical truths in a way they can apply to everyday life. As children grow, our environments grow with them.​

 

Safety & Care

​

Your child’s safety is our top priority. Every volunteer is trained, background-checked, and committed to providing a secure and loving environment. Our check-in process and safety procedures are in place so parents can have peace of mind while their children learn and grow.

Our Children’s Ministry is led by passionate, caring leaders who love kids and are dedicated to helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus. Each leader is committed to creating a positive, encouraging atmosphere where every child feels known and loved.
