Our Servant Leader teams are at the heart of everything we do, and there’s a place for everyone! Before you can join one of our incredible teams, the exciting first step is to become an official member of The STAR. This helps us ensure everyone serving is aligned with our mission and vision, and it’s a fantastic way to deepen your connection with our church family.

The Star Church Teams

At The Star Church, we have a variety of teams where you can use your gifts, serve others, and grow in faith. No matter your passion or skill, there is a place for you to get involved and make an impact.

Hospitality & Welcome Teams

First Touch Ministry – Welcoming guests through our Parking, Greeters, and Ushers teams to create a safe, smooth, and inviting experience.
Parking Ministry – Guides guests safely to parking spots and sets the tone for a stress-free arrival.
Greeters Ministry – Welcomes every guest with a smile, helping them feel valued and at home.
Ushers Ministry – Assists with seating, directions, and service needs to create an organized worship experience.

Worship & Creative Arts Teams

Worship & Music Ministry – Leads Christ-centered worship that inspires, encourages, and unites the church.
Choir / Praise Team – Uses music and song to glorify God and engage the congregation.
Drama & Creative Arts Ministry – Brings biblical stories to life through performance and creative expression.
Media & Production Team – Supports services and events with sound, video, lighting, and technical expertise.

Service & Care Teams

Deacon Ministry – Provides leadership, guidance, and support for members.
Deaconess Ministry – Offers care, prayer, and encouragement to the congregation.
Prayer Ministry – Intercedes for the needs of the church and community.
Visitation Ministry – Brings comfort and spiritual support to the sick, homebound, and those in nursing facilities.

Family, Children & Youth Teams

Children’s Ministry / Star Kids – Helps kids know Christ through fun, interactive learning experiences.
Nursery Ministry – Provides loving care for our youngest members.
Teen Ministry / Youth Ministry – Guides teens to grow in faith, build friendships, and live boldly for Jesus.
Family Outreach – Supports families through events, resources, and programs.

Outreach & Community Teams

Missions Ministry – Extends God’s love locally and globally through service and evangelism.
Evangelism Team – Shares the gospel and invites others to know Christ.
Community Service & Outreach Projects – Meets practical needs in the community.
Food & Clothing Assistance Ministry – Provides support to families and individuals in need.

Growth & Leadership Teams

Bible Study / Small Groups Ministry – Helps individuals grow in understanding and applying God’s Word.
Men’s Ministry – Equips men to lead with faith, integrity, and purpose.
Women’s Ministry – Empowers women to grow spiritually and build community.
Leadership & Mentorship Ministry – Develops and equips leaders to serve with excellence.
Star University / Discipleship Training – Offers classes and resources to strengthen faith and spiritual maturity.
